I hope your week has started well. Mine has been mainly work related spiced up with some dancing. I have also enjoyed some late night talks with a friend. Our talks have made me quite reflective about my current and past friendships.
I am a positive and outgoing person, and I have no intention of changing. I love to be surrounded by my friends. For me true friendship is sharing both funny and sad moments together. Or sometimes just sharing a quiet moment together.

Friendship is sharing similar braids made by my friend's daughters. <3 |
During the past two years I have grown a lot and learned to eliminate those persons trying to effect my thoughts or life negatively. S
ometimes, you get together with bitter people who do not even know what they want themselves and they suck your energy until you dry out.

A great advice in a sign I saw in Key West. |
My decision has borne fruit. The friends around me now maybe less, but I feel much happier and I intend to keep it that way. They respect my life and decisions, and I respect theirs. They listen and understand but they do not judge. Those are the friendships worth keeping that carry through the darkest moments in your life!

Sharing a crazy selfie moment with my goddaughter. |
In life, there always may be people who
are little envious, others might see you as someone annoyingly strong, or as someone with a lot of character, others might think you are a fool... I think it is okay to do so, as long as they do not affect your shine or your essence.
I totally agree with the Irish proverb 'A good friend is like a four-leaf clover; hard to find and lucky to have.'
