Flower printed boots
This autumn the fashion magazines seem to be full of all kinds of boots, especially ankle boots and sock boots with maxi heel and bold prints. Actually, they were already trendy last autumn if you followed carefully for example Chanel's shoe collection.
Since my feet are size 36,5, I usually find a perfect fit only among the Italian leather shoes. I also do love their long-lasting quality.
But this autumn, I opted for the first time to buy shoes from Zara. I just fell in love with the cute high heel ankle boots with a floral print. They are a perfect match with a kimono, dress, skirt or jeans. I must say, I was positively surprised how well these Zara's boots fitted my feet and they even felt comfortable after wearing them for a longer time.
But my absolute favorite boots are the hand-made Italian leather boots I bought from Rome. The rose pattern is so beautifully made and they just brighten up otherwise simple outfit so well. It is just a shame that the season to wear them is so short here in Finland. Just wore them today and they are so comfortable, you can walk miles and miles with them! ;)
If ever in Rome, do not miss the shoe stores on Via Frattina and the area around the Spanish steps. Although the designer shoes like Sergio Rossi's are just fabulous, you can also find true handmade leather gems in the smaller shoe stores with quite reasonable prices.
