Throwback to island hopping in the Bay of Naples

Planning a trip to Naples or Amalfi coast? How about including some island hopping to your holiday plans? Most people visit the famous Capri or the more rustic Ischia. But why not add the less known beautiful island of Procida to your plans as well. All three islands are definitely worth visiting - three very different jewels in the southern Italian Mediterranean. An easy ferry ride away from Naples or the Amalfi coast, you can either do a daytrip or plan to stay longer. Just looking at my old travel pictures made me want to travel back again...  I have visited Capri three times, two times for a daytrip and once I have overnighted on the island. Yes, the island is as posh as you may have read but who would not need some glamour in life from time to time... ;) Capri is a picturesque island famous for its mix of nature, history and local traditions. The past May was exceptionally sunny and warm in Finland - the summer truly arrived well in advance this year. And you will not hear me complaining! I have continued restyling my home but also spent a lot of time outdoors. You simply have to make the most of the perfect warm weather once you can, you never know what the rest of the summer has in store when it comes to Finnish weather.  During one of the weekends I visited the Helsinki zoo with my goddaughter and her family members. Three hours of various animals and a lot of walking in the sun in a great company. Luckily we managed to see a glimpse of my favorite three animals; the lion, tiger and peacock. We also ended up finding a Persian restaurant with tasty, authentic food in the eastern part of Helsinki. A nice experience indeed!
